Renovations to this 1962-Ellis Maples designed course took place over 3 years and involved the rebuilding of 15 greens to USGA specifications, bunker reconstruction and drainage.

Green complexes were rebuilt on holes 1, 2, 4-15 & 18. The original Maples greens were too steep for member play plus the tour players complained during the GGO tournament. Green slopes were reduced from 6 to 7% slope to below 3%.
