Clyde Johnston's youngest of 5 sisters is Cathy Johnston-Forbes.

A Member of the LPGA Tour since 1986, Cathy represents Kilmarlic Golf Club in Harbinger, NC. Winner of the 1990 du Maurier Classic, one of the LPGA's major tournaments at that time.

As a junior player, Cathy won the 1980 Orange Bowl International Junior Championship and the 1981 PGA National Junior Championship. During college at the University of North Carolina, she won the Memphis State Intercollegiate and placed third in the 1981 and 1983 Eastern Amateur.
